The system also includes MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antennas. Multiple technology consortia are feverishly working to develop solutions that meet the ITU-R requirements for 4G mobile technologies, called IMT-Advanced. ETRI plans to submit the core capabilities of WiBro Evolution as part of the IEEE 802.16m standard to be completed in 2010.
